I can now predict the future. I can do it precisely with the accuracy of a fraction of a second. If you want to know how I got this gift read on…
Before I realised this gift I was always in darkness, not knowing what the future holds, always keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that someday nature would line up all the pins for me, I’d win a lottery or someone would die and leave me a fortune. Guess what that didn’t yield any fruit.
Now let’s talk about my gift of prophecy and what 2017 will be like to you…
The year 2017 is now 2 weeks away. I can now predict it for you… If you continue doing what you have been doing in 2016 your results will be worse than you got in 2016. This is because knowledge in every field in doubling at an exponential rate and if you don’t expand your comfort zone your influence is shrinking and before you realise it you’re sinking irrevocably into slough.
If you commit yourself to growth in 2017 your positive results will shock you. If you do not grow you will not only get the same results but worse results because inflation, deflation and shortages will continue to take toll, but if you grow these devils will not catch up with you in 2017.
Growing up, I always focussed on being comfortable and thought of going through the paces and pushing myself to grow and develop as punishing myself. I’d always say, “hey why should I punish myself?”
I now cast a retrospective thought and ask myself why didn’t I push myself harder? I see no real reason as to why I didn’t make those sacrifices to grow my potential. What I’m now left with is a great regret. Charlotte Bronte in her book, Jane Eyre said that remorse is the poison of life but reformation is its cure.
What I didn’t know then is that hidden behind that punishing of self, was growth and advancement. More so becoming a person of value. I have learnt my lessons.
I encourage you not to just approach 2017 as another year to mark on the calendar and count how many people have wished you many more, but to be aggressive about growing and achieving exponential results.
Competition is not your real enemy: fear is. Choosing the path of safety will cost you opportunities that will be far greater than the potential losses you might incur by taking a riskier path.
I have realised that if I do not make some necessary changes and adjustments in 2017 it is just my birthday candles that are going to increase, thereby outnumbering my achievements.
So I made the following decisions:
I will not seek after security because people that are in maximum security are in prison.
I will seek uncomfortable situations not for the sake of discomfort but for the purpose of growth
I will not attend training sessions or read books and then continue doing what I have been doing without implementing what I would have learnt.
This is because I already know the results that I will get if I continue doing what I’m doing.
